Our History
Since 1933, Boyle Insurance Agency, Inc. has grown and expanded over the decades we’ve been in business.
- 1933. B. Snowden Boyle, J. Bayard Boyle, and Charles Boyle founded Boyle Investment Company, a real estate and property management company.
- Post-World War II. The Boyles brought in James H. Wetter to head up the insurance operations. It then became Boyle Insurance Agency, with Wetter as the first president.
- 1972. Jack J. Craddock became president upon Wetter’s retirement and remained so until his retirement in 1998.
- 1998. W. Patton Steele took over the responsibilities of president until his retirement in 2009.
- 2009. Cindi Gresham was appointed president, having been promoted several times since starting at Boyle in 1987.
